My Book: Mr Naughty Bear

I was inspired to write this book on recalling how I used to improvise stories of Mister Naughty Bear to my son when he was 6 years old. He always laughed at the stories I made up about this impish bear, particularly at the thought of him driving a car backwards down the motorway. Whenever I used to stop, he would ask me to carry on and tell him more, which meant I had to improvise as I went along as none of these stories were rehearsed.

During lockdown, I decided to write a story about this bear taking up piano lessons and based the story on my own experiences with my own pupils so although I feel that I would be best suited as Mrs. Patience Bear ( the piano teacher ), I also related to the mother bear, Mrs. Pear Bear in being the doting Mother of a son inspired to learn so much about the piano and how it works etc..

The ideas just flowed once I started writing and finally became the book, which I entitled Mister Naughty Bear and the piano lessons.
