I highly recommend Alison for piano lessons. My daughter has been enjoying lessons with Alison very much and I can see the progress in her everyday. Alison is flexible in her teaching, from understanding the music to playing well known songs, to learning French songs (one suggested by myself). We have moved from face to face lessons to Skype and the quality has remained the same. The feedback after every lesson is well presented so it is clear what my daughter needs to practice throughout the week and how she did in the lesson.

Alison has been tutoring me for just over two years now and is a true professional in everything she does. Alison’s website is so effective and very professional and is easy to use for all age groups. It gives everything from the beginner to the most experienced musician. The website is easy to navigate around with various sections to look at and covers all the information that you require. The content of each section has been well written with no mistakes and gives you all the information you require. When you open the website it immediately grabs your attention in the sense that all the information is right in front of you and is done in a most professional manner. This website makes you feel comfortable with its links and text format. I would recommend Alison if you are thinking about taking piano lessons.

Alison is such a brilliant teacher! I first started learning with her at pre-grade 1 and now I’m getting better and better each day. Alison teaches in a way that is suited to everyone. When I started, she did a short test to check what I knew and to find out what way to teach me in. Overall, Alison makes every lesson fun and I learn a lot each time. Alison has been teaching my son Jesse for a while now and he’s really come on. Alisons teaching keeps him very interested even over Skype during the covid 19 pandemic. Using a mixture of song types/ composers, Alison can keep the learning both classical and current.
